"Build Your Own Bordeaux’ Wine Tasting
Dinner Monday, February
25, 7-9pm Sit down in a small setting with a wine expert to
taste out 5 California Bordeaux varietals. After the 4th tasting, guest
will then mix their own blend using the 4 varietals to try and match the
vineyards special Bordeaux blend, our 5th tasting. Prizes for the person
who comes closest to matching the taste of the vineyards blend. This will
be accompanied by a 5 course tasting menu. Seating is limited and only
available by reservation. Price is $50/person. Wine can be purchased at
special case pricing that evening.
Beef, Beer & Bluegrass
Saturday, July
14th, 2-5pm Goochland’s own ‘Heavy Duty Bluegrass’ band will be
back at the butcher shop. Beer and Sausage tastings surrounded by cases
loaded with beef! A groovin’ start to a beautiful Saturday evening!
Wagyu & Reggae Saturday, May 5th - Opening Day of the Goochland Farmers
Market We're out to celebrate the return and opening day of the
Goochland Farmers Market located within just blocks from our store. Groove
to the tunes of reggae band ‘Antero’ from 12-1:30pm while you shop for
your local treats. Our cases will be stacked and packed with Wagyu Beef,
Certified Angus Steaks, Local Tamworth Pork, and the return of Soft Shell
Crabs. Store resumes summer hours and opens at 8am. Virginia wine tastings
start at 10:30am. Beer tastings start at 11am!

St. Patrick's Day Celebration Saturday, March 17, 10am-5pm Beer Tastings,
Prepared Fare & More - Stop by to join in the St. Patty's Day
celebration. We'll be cooking up hot and prepared Corned Beef and cabbage
meals ($9), Irish Banger Sausages and Mash ($9), Black & Tan Sausages
on a bun ($5).
3rd Anniversary Extravaganza Saturday, January 21 Celebrating for the 3rd
glorious year in a row! Join us for wine, sausage and cheese tastings
while rocking out to the tunes of the 'Heavy Duty Bluegrass' band.

Beef Processing Workshop Wednesday, November 16, 7pm Jonathan will offer a
hands-on beef processing class showing how the best of the best 'Ice Cream
Cuts' are processed. Enjoy wine tastings, fine hors d'oeuvres, Belgian
ales and a rare opportunity to see how your favorite cuts of beef are
prepared by your local butcher. We will also be open for your desired
purchases after this private event. This event is presented by the The Local
Agrarian and hosted at Nadolski's Butcher Shop.

"Deer Processing Made Simple"
Workshop Thursday, November 10, 7-9pm &
Saturday, November 12, 3:30-5:30pm Presented by the Center for Rural Culture, this 2 hour workshop
will teach you how to butcher a deer and maximize the amount of meat
you get from your hunt. Cost is $25/per person. Link to more
